So, out of pure boredem and the need for a place for my everyday ramblings I have decided to create a blog page. Now just a disclaimer before we start, I do not have amazing writing abilities but I can formulate sentences that I hope will make sense to you, the reader. I really do not know what will become of my blogs and I haven't really thought out what things I should post and whether there should be a recurrent theme throughout. Right now I am just going to let things come as they do.
It is winter in Sydney and whilst it is nowhere near as cold as the winters in other countries, I am still freezing my socks off. I have grown up in Sydney and this about the coldest my body can tolerate. A measly 10 degrees. Laughable, I know. I am currently sitting in one of the corners of my room still in my running clothes from my run 3 hours ago now and I am refusing to change because it is too cold to move from this position. I feel like I have invested large amounts of my energy warming this part of my room so moving would be a waste. So anyway, I am currently on uni break and it couldn't have come at a sweeter time. I was starting to feel a little overworked with uni and to be honest burnt out. I suppose you could say I was on the verge of losing all motivation to continue studying and even trying to get good marks. Which is horrible because I am reaching the most exciting stage of my degree. Which is where I find out whether I score a job next year or not and my last semester, not to mention closer to graduating in front of the famous Harry Potter building. My plans for this uni break pales in comparison to my other friends as a few of them are getting hitched or are taking advantage of this month off and traveling. I can't say that I am not envious of them, the travelers that is. I really do want to travel but I have been to lazy to work extra shifts so saving money to buy tickets was not possible. What a shame. I wish future me told me then that I would regret it and want to travel.
So I will keep you posted of my adventures (if there are any) or just my ramblings for the day.
I will do a proper get to know me post next methinks :)
